Welcome to Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support! We are a small non-profit doing big things in the Miami Valley of Ohio, as well as all over the country. We are here to help veterans and their caregivers understand the resources that are available to them, that they have earned due to their service to our country. We connect them to organizations that can help, provide tangible services like yardwork and meal delivery, and create meaningful interactions at our Muster & Mingle events, which are always held at venues with no alcohol served or religious meaning. We understand that these things can sometimes be a barrier for veterans to want to participate.

We have several iPads that we bring with us to these Muster & Mingle events, as well as to the Veteran Resource Fairs we host several times a year. This iPad allows veterans and caregivers with technology barriers a secure place to access their Health E-Vet portal, while having someone on hand who can explain to them how to get the services they require. As technology progresses, and as Covid-19 precautions continue to push more and more services to technology based platforms. many veterans and their caregivers have expressed confusion and frustration with the systems that are in place. As a result, many of those veterans give up on the benefits they are entitled to, simply because they don’t have any one they can ask for help. We are not accredited with the VA, and we do not file claims on behalf of veterans, but we do what we can to make their care more accessible.
