Get Support
Welcome Home Baskets

We’re proud to partner with several Miami Valley agencies to support veterans as they rebuild their lives after being rehoused. Whether they’ve lost their home due to a natural disaster, recently completed in-patient treatment, or successfully reintegrated following incarceration, our goal is to provide a soft place to land—and the resources they need to thrive.
If you’re in this stage of life, we’re here to help—but all veteran referrals must come through one of our partner agencies. If you’re not currently connected with one, we’re happy to guide you to the right place to start. Together, we can begin building the foundation for a safe, stable, and hopeful future.
Food Pantry

Military Family Food Pantry
Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support is proud to offer a hardship-based food pantry for military and veteran families. As the need for food assistance continues to grow—especially among those who may not qualify for traditional programs—we created this pantry to fill the gap.
Thanks to generous community support, our shelves are stocked with a wide range of shelf-stable items, including canned goods, cereal, and even some personal care and cleaning items.
Who We Serve
The pantry is open to:
- Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve members
- Honorably discharged veterans and retirees
- Widowed families of veterans
Service area includes (but is not limited to) Miami, Darke, Shelby, Champaign, Montgomery, and Clark counties. Families may access the pantry once a month, and if assistance is needed for more than three consecutive months, we’ll work with you to connect to resources like employment help, budgeting, or housing support.
Pantry Hours & Location
The food pantry is open every Thursday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at our office.
