Santa’s Sweet Shop: A Snowy Day to Remember
Despite a snowy winter day, Santa’s Sweet Shop was filled wall-to-wall with warmth, laughter, and holiday magic. Families bundled up and joined us for an afternoon that felt straight out of a Christmas story — and the crowd made it clear that a little snow wasn’t going to slow down the fun.

Every corner of the room buzzed with activity. Tables were piled high with toys, and each child received a bag to fill to the brim with special surprises of their choosing. Santa himself made a memorable appearance, greeting every child and handing out a stuffed animal to each one. In return, he was delighted with letters, handmade cards, and even a cookie or two — clearly well loved by his visitors.
Our game section was a huge hit, packed with high-energy, free-play games that kept kids laughing and cheering. The candy cane fishing was just challenging enough for all ages of kids. Our cotton ball launcher wars and indoor snowball fight even the adults got in on the fun! Nearby, the craft area stayed busy with pipe cleaner ornament making, coloring pages, and letter-writing stations where children could send their wishes straight to the North Pole.

Music filled the air as the treat tables practically groaned under the weight of homemade goodies — cookies, fudge, candy, and so much more. A fan favorite returned once again with the Tipp Center’s Grinch Punch, which was just as popular this year as it was last year.
Events like Santa’s Sweet Shop are only possible because of incredible community support. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to Dollar Tree, Operation Homefront, Covington AMVETS, the Tipp Center, and Jimmy Weaver — Santa’s trusted “friend” — for helping make the day so special. Your generosity and time brought joy to so many families and truly embodied the spirit of the season.
We’re so grateful to everyone who came out, braved the snow, and helped make Santa’s Sweet Shop a day to remember!
