Brunch & Bright Ideas: April Craft Co-Op Highlights
On Saturday April 26th, Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support hosted our second Craft Co-Op at Crooked Handle Brewing in Piqua, OH. We had almost 40 participants who spent the morning designed custom lighthouse statuaries for their gardens or porches. Everyone was supplied 3 terracotta pots and a variety of paint colors, and encouraged to let their creativity flow!

To fuel the creativity, Crooked Handle provided a delicious brunch buffet, allowing guests to enjoy scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, croissants, and fresh fruit—all while continuing their projects. The room was filled with laughter, lighthearted teasing over artistic choices, and lots of conversation.
We were thrilled to welcome back several crafters from our January event—and even more thrilled to hear many are already planning to join us again in July!

If you’d like to be part of our July Craft Co-Op, we’ll be creating patriotic wreaths from bandanas—a perfect summertime addition to your door or wall. For details and registration – click here!
