Tacos, Trivia, and Togetherness at our Fiesta Night!
Nearly 60 veterans, caregivers, family members, and community supporters filled the Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support office in Troy for one of our liveliest Muster & Mingle gatherings yet during our Cinco de Mayo celebration.

The evening was filled with laughter, conversation, festive decorations, trivia, and plenty of incredible food thanks to Tortilla Mexican Street Food. With fresh tacos, bowls, and burritos being prepared right outside, the atmosphere felt more like a neighborhood celebration than a typical weekday evening.

Children took turns at the piñata while attendees gathered around tables to connect, laugh, and enjoy time together. Events like these are a powerful reminder that community support can look simple — sharing a meal, meeting a new friend, or spending an evening surrounded by people who genuinely understand and care.
At Operation Veteran & Caregiver Support, Muster & Mingle events are designed to create exactly those moments. Veterans and caregivers often carry heavy responsibilities, and opportunities to relax, laugh, and simply enjoy community matter more than many people realize.
We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so special, as well as Tortilla Mexican Street Food for helping us bring a fun and memorable celebration to our Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support families.
